Recommended Itinerary and Holiday Costs to Bali

Three levels of light snacks that are ready to be voracious accompany my afternoon at one of the restaurants owned by The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali on Jl. Kartika Plaza, Kuta, namely Sands Restaurant. That afternoon, I was sitting sweetly waiting for the time when the sun was setting, my favorite activity that I often do. This Sands Restaurant is indeed facing the sea.

From noon I was alarmed to see a cloud-dominated sky with some of it looking cloudy. “It’s possible to cancel sunset this afternoon”, I said to myself while swimming in the lagoon pool enjoying a glass of cocktail.

Fortunately, sunsetan plus my handsome nuggets went smoothly. The afternoon atmosphere warmed up when the afternoon sun appeared peeking between the clouds, as warm as a pair of lovers sitting in front of me.  sunset at the anvaya beach resort

That atmosphere is what I shared on my Instagram timeline, @virustraveling. Quote a Quote that says:

“Someday, you will find the one who will watch every sunrise with you until the sunset of your life.”

Instead of being jealous of the couple in front of me, you know, (a little). Come to think of it, yeah too. I often really enjoy this beautiful sunset … alone … Hahaha. Well, at best with friends.

While enjoying the afternoon sun, I like to miss my extended family in Sumatra there. Moreover, seeing Bali which has begun to crowded ahead of this Eid holiday. As I saw at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali some time ago, not a few I saw families who want to spend time with a vacation to Bali.

Talking about holidays with family, anyone has a plan to vacation in Bali during the Idul Fitri holiday? I want to share a number of recommendations for itinerary and estimated costs that might be your reference during your vacation in Bali.

Note: I put the itinerary and estimated holiday costs in Bali at the bottom, read on!

My first recommendation is to choose the base alias where we stay during the holidays. The best choice in my opinion is still around Kuta, especially for holidays with family. My recommendation, The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali.

Why?

The main reason, in my opinion (again), is that the location is quite strategic to reach tourist attractions in Bali with One Day Trip, going home early in the morning.

Besides that, there are many activities that you can do. Among them:

Hunting Sunset on the Beach
The island of Bali is already famous for its beautiful beaches, of course with a fantastic sunset charm. For sunset lovers who find it hard to wake up early in the morning to see a sunrise like me, the area of South Bali, especially Kuta, it is indeed the right place to enjoy the charm of sunset.

I myself do not know the word bored. Even though I have lived in Bali for almost 3 years, I quite often sunset in the Kuta area and surrounding areas. How about that, I agree with Sis @Pashatama, “the charm will never be the same every day”.

So, here are recommendations for beaches in Kuta that you can choose to enjoy the sunset with your family.

Segara Beach
Not many people know the name Segara Beach. I am actually not even interested in this beach. Maybe because of its location behind hotels and resorts. If you stay at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali, the backyard is directly to Segara Beach.
Kuta beach
Who doesn’t know this beach. He said again, not yet to Bali if you haven’t visited the beach of a million people. Even so, Kuta Beach still cool for sunsetan.
Legian Beach
One coastline, after Segara Beach and Kuta Beach, then Legian Beach. Just as famous as Kuta Beach. Here, there are many beachside cafes that provide a bean bag to relax while waiting for the sun to return to its surroundings.
German coast
Does anyone know the German Coast? This beach can’t be missed, anyway. I myself do not understand why the beach which is located right next to Ngurah Rai Airport is called the German Coast. In the German Coast, I generally see more local residents who come here to just play around, of course while waiting for the sun to set. Besides that, we can see the plane passing by as the background.
In Kuta there are enough, right? A little bit, you can go to Batu Belig 707 Beach too. Well, for you who often wake up early for sports. Jogging along the beaches is also exciting, you know

Take souvenirs at the Kuta Art Market
Traveling to Bali isn’t complete if you don’t bring Balinese souvenirs. One place that you can visit is the Art Market, Kuta. Other options? You can visit Joger, Krisna or Agung Bali, which is well-known as a center for Balinese souvenirs. There are many scattered in Kuta.

Spa
Tired all day traveling around Bali? Especially if you bring parents who are easily tired. You can try a spa that is widely scattered in the Kuta area. The price also varies from Rp. 100,000.

If you want a more luxurious and complete treatment, I recommend you try the Sakanti Spa.

Previously I was lulled by the Sakanti Spa service at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali. One treatment that I like is the Hot Sands Massage, using black sand which is processed with spices and then heated.

This Hot Black Sands is then rubbed throughout the body specifically to several points to facilitate blood circulation.

One Day Trip
As I mentioned above, the Kuta area is strategically located to reach several other tourist areas, such as Uluwatu, Ubud, Tanah Lot, to Bedugul. For you looking for local operator then visit https://baliventur.com/

For those of you who don’t want to bother, here I make a recommendation for the One Day Trip itinerary by staying at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali.

Holiday Itinerary

Arrive in Bali
My advice is that on the first day you don’t have to go anywhere, just go to the hotel to check-in. The distance between The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali from Ngurah Rai airport is quite close. About 15-20 minutes drive.

In the afternoon, you can go directly to Sands Restaurant to enjoy the sunset. The price of the high tea package is quite affordable, which is IDR 155,000 ++. It includes 3 levels of light snacks that you can enjoy while sunsetan.

Other activity choices, I have written above before. Below the sample of Bali Tour Packages Itinerary

Day 02.
Uluwatu and its surroundings
Uluwatu is actually not enough to visit in one day. For today, there are several spots that you can visit. I sort it in the same direction, huh!

Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park,
The good news is that the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue is expected to be completed in August.
Ticket price for entry: Adult (80K), Child (70K)
Melasti Beach,
Instead of the increasingly crowded Pandawa Beach. You can try Melasti Beach next to it, and of course it’s not too crowded. But before entering the beach area, you can play first to the cliff to see Melasti Beach from a height.

There is no entry ticket yet.
Dreamland Beach, or Padang-Padang Beach or both
From Garuda Wisnu Kencana you can choose between Dreamland Beach, or Padang-padang Beach or both. Because the Padang-padang Beach is close enough to the final destination, namely Uluwatu Temple.

Uluwatu Temple,
For sunsetan, you can visit Luhur Uluwatu Temple and don’t forget to watch Kecak Dance.
Trip of Wonders Kecak and Fire Dance Uluwatu

The ticket price for admission to Uluwatu: IDR 20,000 / person (Car parking IDR 5,000), while Kecak Dance IDR 75,000.
Try it too: Extreme Sports Paragliding at Riug Paragliding.

Day 03
Ubud and Kintamani
Instead of just Ubud or Kintamani, why not both, right? Usually the driver tour will take you to that place. Well, my route is a bit different.

Tukad Cepung Waterfall
We recommend leaving early from the hotel The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali. Don’t forget to have breakfast first at the Sands Restaurant. The first spot will be wet, namely Tukad Cepung Waterfall, one of the waterfalls that began to hit located in Bangli.
The driving distance is around 1.5 hours from Kuta and the entry ticket is not very expensive, IDR 10,000 / person. The field to the waterfall includes easy walking.

Enjoy at the Tukad Cepung waterfall. Don’t forget the photo, yes.

Kintamani
Go up again, around 50-60 minutes, just go to Kintamani. Pause at Penelokan to see Mount Batur and Lake Batur from a height. My estimation has been to lunch here. Instead of being taken to the restaurant above, you should go down to the floating restaurant below. The location is right on the edge of the lake. The price is cheap, and delicious. I was there before, around 50 thousand per person to eat middle.
If you want to climb Mount Batur, read my story here.

Kintamani Dog with View Sunsire Mount Batur
Dogs are sunrise, aren’t you?
Pura Tirta Empul, Tampak Siring
One who can’t miss it, Pura Tirta Empul at Tampak Siring. Down from Kintamani, the distance is around 45-50 minutes drive.
The entry ticket price is IDR 30,000
Sunset at Green Kubu Tegalalang
Skip Tegalalang Rice Field!
Seriously, bro. From there, you can try to relax at Green Kubu, Tegalalang. The place is OK, Instagramable in the middle of rice fields, food and drinks are very affordable.

Day 04.
Kuta and surroundings
Two consecutive days have traveled quite far and consumed energy. A relaxing holiday time in the Kuta area and surrounding area. There are still many activities that you can do, please. Some of them I have written above. Especially if you stay at The Anvaya Beach Resort, its location is strategic and quite close everywhere or maybe a staycation of enjoying hotel facilities with loved ones.

Don’t forget to hunt for souvenirs!

Day 05.
Return
Well, I think 5 days 4 nights is enough, yes. If it’s still lacking, please contact me again hahaha (email / whatsapp)

Tips: Also check the weather forecast in the AccuWeather application. Usually this is enough to help me and quite accurate too.
Don’t forget to wear a sunscreen
Always bring a change of clothes

BTW, actually talking about the cost of vacation in Bali is indeed relative, depending on how long, transportation, food and accommodation.

Well, for accommodation, I have tips for you who want to book a cheap hotel. You can visit Santika.com. When staying at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali some time ago, I booked a room through Santika.com because the price was cheaper. Apart from being cheap, there are several other reasons why you should book via Santika.com, including:

Choice of payment methods are various, such as Credit Cards, Bank Transfers, or want to directly pay at the hotel? Can!
You can’t beat direct. The best price guarantee. Moreover, Santika has many hotel chains to choose from.
Nothing is hidden. Prices at Santika.com include taxes.
