What is IELTS?
IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System, which IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System, which is a test system designed to measure the English language skills of someone who wants to study or work in a country that uses English as their communication language. IELTS tests four types of language skills, namely Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
Implementation of IELTS Test

IELTS Test Format
IELTS is available in two formats: Academic and General Training. IELTS Academic is intended for someone who wants to study at the level of undergraduate or postgraduate learning process using English. IELTS General Training is intended for someone who wants to work, migrate, or take non-degree training in a country that uses English as a communication tool.
The differentiation of this format is only for IELTS Reading and Writing, while for IELTS Listening and Speaking the matter is the same. For Reading and Writing, this book will only review the guides and exercises used in the Academic format. You need to know the format you need because the test center is not obliged to provide information about this. Then, not all test centers hold tests for General Training.
IELTS Test Material
As mentioned, the material tested is IELTS Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The first three materials, namely Listening, Reading, and Writing, must be completed in one day and there is no rest between the three. For Speaking, tests can be conducted in a period of seven days after or before the first three materials, depending on the test center in question. There is also a test center that runs Speaking tests on the same day with Listening, Reading, and Writing
When is the IELTS Test?
You must arrive at the location 15 minutes before the test begins, then show your identity card to the clerk. The identity card you carry must be the same as the identity you used when filling out the application form. You need to bring writing equipment (pencils, pens, pencil sharpeners and erasers). When entering the test room, you are not permitted to carry any bags, books or electronic equipment.
In the test room, there is a seat that has been determined for you. You will sit there during the IELTS Reading, listening, and Writing tests. You will get an answer sheet to write down the answer. You may take notes on the question paper, but you are not permitted to take it outside the room. The test paper’s notes will not be read by the examiner. Speaking tests are carried out at different times. This test will be recorded.
